While I teach a variety of styles, the philosophy of getting to know yourself is the most important to me. The yoga asana Savasana has been called the most important pose you can do. The benefits of Savasana include rest, relaxation and release. There are studies to support that Savasana relaxes the central nervous system and reduces blood pressure, anxiety and stress, releases fatigue, tension and improves sleep. Yoga Nidra is a meditation practice done entirely in Savasana. It is a relieving meditation practice that almost anyone, anywhere can do. This practice is known for relaxing the whole self: including the body, mind and soul.

Join me and learn how Yoga Nidra creates calmness and peace in the body and mind. We will explore the positive effects of setting intentions and how to stimulate creativity with visualizations. We will learn how Yoga Nidra is a guide to travel through the layers of the self and connect with the soul.

20 HOUR GOING DEEP LEVEL 1:  Nov 9 and 10 2019

The first weekend we will dive deep into the foundation of Yoga Nidra. You will learn how Yoga Nidra creates calmness and releases tension in the body and mind. We will explore the positive effects of setting intentions and how to stimulate creativity with visualizations. We will go through each step of the practice one by one and you will learn how to confidently teach this practice.

Daily Schedule: 9am – 6pm, 1 Hour Lunch

20 HOUR GOING DEEPER LEVEL 2: Nov 16 and 17 2019

The second weekend we will go deeper into the practice where we’ll explore the philosophy of the subtle body including the kosha and chakra systems. We’ll explore scientific studies on why this practice works. We will also break down the sequence to fit into various situations – from yoga and school classrooms to corporate boardrooms.

Daily Schedule: 9am – 6pm, 1 Hour Lunch

The trainings are open to all teachers and students who want to deepen their knowledge on this meditation style and learn how to pass it down to their students, co-workers, family and friends. Yin Yoga is steadily growing in popularity all across North America and Europe. Yin focuses on long holds to lengthen, massage and expand the connective tissue that encompasses the space within the hips, pelvis and lower spine. Benefits of practicing Yin include activating the parasympathetic nervous system, stimulating the feminine energy channel and increasing body awareness.

Come join me for a weekend of Yin Training where we’ll explore different Yin poses, meditation techniques, subtle body awareness and overall self-care. Being a new yoga teacher is exciting! I have guided a handful of teachers who recently graduated from a 200HR training with the intention of building confidence, finding an authentic teaching voice and creating safe classes.

The mentorship program is a 3 month training for yoga teachers who are YA certified and wish to evolve their teaching skills. During this time, I will work one on one with you to develop, build and excel your teaching and confidence.
